Description: A theme I revisit in my work is a woman 'Wearing the World'. Earlier works have had the 'Gaia-like' Goddess depicted in a globe dress, presiding over the earth. Recently I've produced watercolour representations of the Goddess, donned with maps of the earth. Quite simply, Gaia is life. She is the very soul of the earth. She also represents the interconnectedness of everything. Earth as a living, self-regulating entity which sustains all life. A rich topic indeed.
